Aroma of dark malt, caramel, roast, some anise, chocolate, clove, pepper, hint of liquorice, herbal notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Remarkably dry. Rather pleasant roasty spiced Schwarzbier.

A very dark brown beer, a head is medium and beige. Difficult aroma, sweetness, cinnamon and complex spicyness. Taste has spicyness, low roastiness, liquorice. Almost medium bodied. Something is done right here, balanced spicyness.

33 cl bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Dark, bordering black beer with a fluffy lightly tanned head. Sweet, spiced aroma with cloves, fruits, caramel malts and a toasted note. Taste is light sweet. Medium bodied. Drying, spiced finish. A bit odd.
