Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - black with a crema head. Nose - dark chocolate, a hint of dried fruit and generally woody. Taste - more dark chocolate, this time drier with the woodiness continuing too. Palate - full bodied, dry finish. Overall - good.

Can at James's. Pours deep ruby brown, nose is chocolate, caramel, toffee, vanilla, coconut, taste is sweet toffee, chocolate, soy sauce, vanilla, roasted.

Can thanks to Stuu666. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of dates, leather, raisins, resin and pine. Taste is more of the same. Rich and boozy.

44cl Blik, dank Harmen! Afsluiter van een interessant bieravondje. Zwarte kleur, romige beige kraag. Gebrande mout, bourbon, vanille, eikenhout, mokka, koffie, pure chocolade, niet te zoet, bitterzoete finish. Volle body. BA RIS zoals het heurt, geen poespas.

Color negro con espuma de color beige claro. Aroma a maltas asadas, Bourbon, melaza y algo de vainilla. Sabor con notas a maltas torrefactas, café, melaza, turba y muy sutilmente a Bourbon. mUy buen equilibrio entre las maltas tostadas y las notas a Bourbon. Final, denso, cálido y apenas alcohólico.

Can. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, sweet Bourbon, vanilla. Taste: Roasted malt, mocha, coffee notes, molasses, sweet and bit boozy Bourbon, vanilla. Balance in between base beer and barrel is ok, Bourbon is a little bit overwhelming. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Full body, just below average carbonation. Nice one.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. A thick dark brown black coloured pour with a whispy dark tan head. Aroma is big woody oak, vanilla, raw oak, spicy woody cinnamon, woody roast, some hot alcohol. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, brown sugars, brandy snap sugars, cinnamon, woody roast, woody oak, vanilla, warming alcohol. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Layered. Little rough round the edges.

Can at home, from Yards & Crafts online, 28/12/21. Black with a good sized tan covering. Nose is dark malts, figs, fruit cake mix, dark chocolate, spice, mellow barrel. Taste comprises chocolate maltesers, subtle bourbon, dark fruit rinds, molasses, spice, mellow roast, light ashen tones, dates, chocolate dipped raisins. Full bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid well balanced impy stout ... not a lot of barrel offered but a good all round sipper.
