Pours a very dark copper, with some lightly tanned foam. Tiny bit hazy. Smells big time of rye, bready malts, some caramel. Good body for this ABV. Taste starts slightly watery, then fades into something heavy bitter, tonnes of rye. Not for me. Unbalanced

Bottle at home, brown beer, small head. Aroma is rye, malt, fruit, sweet, caramel, hint of cinnamon/gingerbread, Taste is the same, sweet, light bitter, nice.

On tap at BrewDog Bristol Clear deep ruby colour lasting beige head. Some light spice. more of the flavour of Rye comes through. some citrus flavours. juicy. well balanced. I rather liked it . easy drinking. some dry spiciness on the finish. decent.

Tap @Brewery taproom. Poured amber deep color. Thin white head. Malty and sweet, bit bready and mild hoppy. A malty brew with a tad spiciness from the rye. Easy.

I like it because it’s essentially a malty red with low hops bitterness and aroma, and a good round body... but has that medium rye kick. The beer would be better without rye, but that’s just my preference. Craft bier bar hamburg.
