A malt forward session style ale brewed with malted and unmalted rye. The rebirth of Rukkirääk in a more sessionable and smoother-creamier format.

A dark brown beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has maltyness, breadyness, quite high sweetness with some overriped fruitness. Taste has maltyness of rye, some breadyness, also sweetness, more balanced than aroma. Medium bodied. Roughness of rye, the recipe would be more finalized.

Bottled 330ml (from brewery shop)
Deep red colour, small beige head. Very ryeish, almost kvass-like aroma, some caramel. Light-bodied. Ryeish malts, bready, caramelly but watery finish. Light earthy hops. Easy.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of rye, red fruit and caramel. Pours cloudy brown amber color with medium sized frothy tan-like head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light to medium sweet and sour grainy and bready, following is medicinal and dried fruity, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Malty river...

Very rye forward. Definitely nice, but a bit thin and simple. Very drinkable though, good session beer. Lots of caramel, rye, spice, tobacco. Could use a bit more hops.

Bottle at a Beermalade Covid Tasting no 11. Thin body, moderate carbonation. Rather bitter, a bit metallic. Mostly caramelly in terms of character. Balanced by bitterness, no hops to speak of, a bit of metallic. I do not get any particular rye character. Feels like a basic polotmavý lager, just with less hops character and a bit stale. Not great, not terrible.
