Tight light brown head stayed on a highly carbonated caramel coloured still body. Malt, caramel & berry aroma. Medium bodied, feels a bath bomb in the mouth with too much carbonation. Clean on the back. Caramel, malt, chocolate & fruity tastes with a tangy finish.

Many thanks to SimonTomlinson for this bottle. Lots of malt and caramel. Nuts, roasted grain, mild smooth, with a dry caramelly bitterness. Very smooth and mild, round and fruity. Highly carbonated but very nice.

500ml bottle; BBE Jan 2019. Given to me by a friend. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 9th Nov 2018, the first beer of a mini tasting session with myself and no one else. Bright and clear amber body, off-white blanket of foam for a head. Bitter in nature with a dry, woody piney feel throughout. Hidden malty base gives balance. Liked it.

Clear deep amber colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma toasted malts, caramel, hay, chalky notes. Smooth taste, light sweet and bitter, malty, roasty, caramel, light candy sugar. Malty and dusty sweetbitter aftertaste, light body, watery texture, average carbonation; well-made, okay amber ale.
