Cask at Peterborough Beer Festival 2022. Pours dark ruby brown with a creamy cap. Aroma: blackcurrant, light coffee. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, fruity, again blackcurrants dominate, berry fruits, liquorice hints. Medium body with fine carbonation. Good one.

Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a generous frothy cream head. Blackcurrants in the nose, with a hint of coffee. Blackcurrant again dominating in the mouth, but also berry fruits, roast malts and a trace of vanilla. Frutiness persists in the finish. Quite nice.
