11/11/10/11//11

#80 Struise. Tasting glass draft @ ’t Antwaerps Bierhuyske. Pours black / extremely dark brown with a big very creamy mocha head. Roasted malts in the notes with overripe berries & fruits plus some mocha. Taste carries the current Struise sylte, thick, very sweet & syrupy, dark fruits, very grainy feel, coffee grounds, dark fruits, chocolate, cocoa powder, chocolate mouse, leaves, messy,… Lighter body than most current Struise beers aka heavy compared to most, very grainy feel. Solid but Struise has made more astonishing brews, funnily despite this being 7 % ABV this feels almost like a light version of some of the recent Struise beers.
