2019 version. This wild beer begins with familiar, tropical fruit flavors but opens to something deeper and more redolent; summer-ripe peaches, melon, then oak aged for over a year in red and white wine barrels, it is mildly acidic with a delicate body.

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent gold with a decent white head. Aroma is mildly tart and fruity. Med body. Flavor is slightly tart/acidic with peaches and melon. Light malt support. Hints of oak astringency. Some red grape. Decent sour, but I sadly can't find the Brett.

Pours a medium cloudy yellow, with fine white head. Smells fruity, vinous, semi sweet. Good mouthfeel, not too thick, but definitely there, with some sparkly carbonation. Taste is lightly sour, some fruity sweetness, fair bit of wine. Easy yet flavourful.

16 ounce can ordered from Hoptimism and drunk at home during the pandemic. Dark gold, cloudy with almost no head. Bready yeast, oak, red wine, gooseberry in the aroma. Taste is intensely tart with a strong fruit juice tang. Sweet yeasty notes in the latter half of the sip, leading to a balanced finish. More tart vinous fruit in the aftertaste. Medium body with more carbonation than it looks like it would have. Very nice: complex and moreish.

Can shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy dark golden with fizzy head that leaves no trace. Soft fruity hops, papaya, some glue, popcorn, light caramel, elderflower, passionfruit, fresh baked bread crust, apricot, light seaweed, white wine. Medium sweet and medium acidic.
