16 oz. can. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, guajillo/ chipotle. Flavor shows me vanilla and chocolate throughout with a mild pepper heat in the finish. Bourbons also hair but mild. Body is thick with an oily texture. Viscous. 14.5% is noticeable but not in your face.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a pitch black with almost no head. Big bourbon focused, wood-forward nose with cacao nib, smoked chipotle and dark chocolate aromas as it warms. More cacao nib, smoked pepper and bourbon on the palate with more wood and oak...light toasted vanilla underneath. Light blackberry, raisin and prune notes underneath as well. Lingering booze, smoked pepper and fruit notes on the finish. ABV hidden surprisingly well, with the chili spice taking a backseat...the chipotle notes work honestly. Very good.

16 oz can from Tavour. From the minute I popped the top I knew this was something special. It poured out like a black oil slick while sweet notes of Mexican chocolate wafted up my nostrils. First taste yielded a silky, smooth body with equal parts sweet and roast. Mexican chocolate follows with spicy notes of chili and cinnamon and deep rich dark notes. This is just Solid throughout and well worth seeking out.

Dark black color. Sweet bourbon and almost soy sauce aroma. Sweet bourbon flavor with hints of bitter dark chocolate , vanilla, and mild coffee. Mild pepper aftertaste. Thick.

Sampled at Snallygaster 2019. Poured a black color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, some cinnamon, chocolate. Roast. Tastes like a mole.
