33cl bottle from Albert Heijn Duinenwater supermarket in Knokke. F: thin, white, quick gone. C: gold, hazy. A: light fruity, orange, tangerine, tropical fruits touch, bit caramel. T: medium malty base, vaguely orange, old lychee, bit caramel, soft carbonation, not very juicy yet not bad, enjoyed.

Bottle at home, golden beer, small head. Aroma is citrus, malt, hops, light tropical fruit. Taste is the same, grapefruit, lemon, bitter, somewhat long aftertaste. not bad not great.

Clear golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have obvious citrus notes. Pleasant but not particularly flavoursome

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn, Culemborg. Hazy dark golden with a white head. Orange aroma with some tropical fruits as well. Taste is sweet with a low bitter astringent finish. Decent but nothing more.

Schedelmeting: Komt wat wateriger over & heeft ‘n beetje last van een aluminium bijsmaak. Verder is de smaak iets minder harsig maar even bloemig met ‘nzelfde grapefruit randje. ‘N beetje droog & haverachtig waar de klassieke juist zoet, harsig & vol is.

Hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, fruity hops, orange and malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tried at Blacksmith’s temporary Zaantheater location.

Bottle from Albert Heijn. Pours clear dark golden with a lasting, thin, white head. Aroma of perfume, orange peel, grapefruit juice, brioche, caramel, lychee, peach. Taste has sweet lychee, orange & brioche-like malts, all the while quite perfumey, bitter edge of grapefruit peel & juice, sour hint of citrus zest. Dry, floral hoppy finish, grapefruit & orange peel lingering. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Bitter enough but too perfumey; it's also weird that 't IJ presumed that orange & grapefruit peel would turn this into a 'juicy' IPA - a brewery that made something nice like Mooie Nel. Get your modern beer concepts right!
