Bottle. Clear pale copper/orange small white head. Aroma of straw, metal, malts, caramel, alcohol and maybe some stone fruits plus hints of vanilla. Taste of malts, metal, caramel and ambiguous citrus fruits. No smoky notes to be found. Slightly sour-ish. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Thin and watery. It’s exactly what you expect from Duckstein: overpriced and underwhelming.

Bottle courtesy of Erzengel - Cheers! 🍺 Tight off white head soon left a thin cover on a slowly carbonating amber coloured body. Malt & raisin aroma. Medium bodied, tingly over the tongue with a syrupy, sticky back. Raisin, jam, berries, caramel, malt & syrup tastes. Tasty enough.

Nice beer, not great for the style, but pretty good overall. A bit of a harsh bite too it that makes it lose drinkability. D&S Dresden

Many thanks for this Rubin Bock to My EuroSanta in the end of the last year. No ale niestety jest zle by nie powiedziec fatalnie. dwie kwestie. Nazwa Rubin bock. Niestety to zle piwo.

500ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty, minimally smoky aroma, hints of caramel, weak, grassy and leafy, hoppy overtones. Taste is mellow malty, minimally woody and smoky, hints of caramel, slightly grassy, leafy and minimally floral, hoppy overtones, a cautious fruity hoppy touch of mandarine and orange. Not bad.

Bottle. Amber color. Malt and raspberry lemonade in the aroma and flavor. Hints of beechwood and perfume. Sweetish, Thinnish, slightly Disappointing.

Bottle. Color: Amber, thin white head. Taste: Malty, medium sweet, with hints of caramal and unripe sour berries, lightly hints of vanilla. It took me some effort to recognize very lightly hints of wood and whiskey, as promised on the label, in the finish. Under medium body, average carbonation. Mediocre beer. Not worth to be called Grand Cru (= High Quality) as stated on the label in my opinion.

Optisch schönes Gold, in der Nase malzig, leicht süß, Spekulatius. Im Trunk schöne Rauchnoten, Schinken trifft Honig. Überraschend lecker.

Bottle 0.5l from trade with pivnizub, many thanks, Guenther!
Clear, deep gold to light amber colored. AROMA- malt, grain, alcohol, caramel. FLAVOR- neutral, strong alcohol presence, malty, some caramel, grainy finish. Fuller bodied.
Too much alcohol, not very good.

Pours a clearamber color, topped with a medium sized, creamy white head, non-lasting. Mild sweet malt aroma with a bit of alcohol feel. Biscuity and a tad chalky feel. But hard to pick up altogether. Sweet and biscuity, not too much with some medium hoppy bitterness in the end. Alcohol nicely hidden, medium light body.
