Bottle Pours warm clear copper . Good white head . Really hate the label though ... But that might be just me . Very sweet smell, both malt and sugar . In a syrupy, good way that is . Tiny bit too much carbo . Taste is nice, sweet malts, some grains, bit bitterness . Bit metallic though , and it just does not work in this beer . I don’t have the feeling the metallicness belongs here as well, so it might be a failure somewhere, perhaps ?

21/VIII/13 - 33cl bottle from Internationaal Streekbierenfestival (Zwevegem) @ home - BBE: 2015 (2013-789) Thanks to Isabelle for selling me the bottle!

Pretty cloudy orange beer, big irregular creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet and sugary start, cow fodder, some overripe banana, pretty spicy, nutmeg, caramel, pumpkin pie, little off. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: grains, caramel, bit sweet, toast, citrus, bitter and herbal, some banana. Aftertaste: ripe banana, toast, malts, grains, some hay, caramel, bit sugary, lightly smoked, nice and subtle. Lovely balanced Belgian beer!
