Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: mocha, bit of coffee, caramel, dried fruits, sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, lots of citrus, some caramel, pretty roasted, bit of alcohol. Aftertaste: malty, bit sour, roasted, some caramel, pretty bitter, hoppy finish. Nice one!

Sampled at Kerstbierfestival Essen 2014. Very dark brown color with a slight dark red glare coming through when held into the light, medium sized beige to light brown head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, some hops. Taste malts, caramel, roast, dark fruits, a hint of hops, quite bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad at all.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kestbierfestival 2014. (Thx!) This one is supposed to be a mix between a Sout & IPA apparently. Dark blackish brown, tanned head. Nose is very sweet, lightly boozy, tad charcoal, chocolate,… Taste is roast, charcoal mixed with chocolate milk, cheap coffee, faint herbs,… Chocolate milk body. This is good stuff, there is nothing IPA about this in my opinion.
