Introducing Hazy L IPA, our sixth year-round beer available in six-packs and on draught! This innovative take on the hazy IPA style features Citra®, Sabro™ and Mosaic® hops grown by BT Loftus Ranches. With an approachable bitterness and a crisp body, this hazy IPA was thoughtfully crafted for everyday drinking.

After refining our hazy game for a year with over 30 recipes in our Imagination Station, we finally settled on this hazy IPA recipe as the newest addition to our year-round lineup. It’s a nod to the ripe East Coast hazies with our own fun West Coast spin – which is why we decided to name it Hazy L, another nod to some of the greats that came before us: our great-grandparents’ B.T. and Leota Mae Loftus’ cattle brand ‘Lazy L.’

Can from Raynville Superstore. It pours cloudy golden - yellow with a medium, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, bright, tropical vibes, peach, mango, apricot, coconut water, Fanta, orange marmalade sandwiches, touch green and weedy. The taste is dry, light bitterness, green, weedy, dank, floury bread, herbal, aniseed vibes, peppery spice, pithy, zesty, orange Fanta, apricot, peach, mango, coconut, pineapple, lilt, floury bread and light nip of alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Like those sabros. Nice one.

Sampled from the tap at the Ballard location. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice citrus with a bit of papaya and mango supporting. Flavor has mango and papaya with a growing citrus presence.

Haze, medium head, yellow. Odd character, stewed canned peach, watery body. This is not working for me.

On tap at Bale Breaker - Ballard, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has a lot of bitter citrus zest, citrus hops, and moderate dankness. Flavour is quite bitter, bringing out lots of citrus zest, citrus rind, and gentle stone fruitiness. Citrusy and bitter; on the harsh side but still acceptable. Decent.

Taster shared with Matt. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: citrusy and dank. Taste: juicy, lots of citruses bitterness, some other weird notes that I am not sure how to describe it, maybe some kind of creamy notes. Overall: ok.

Enjoyed on tap at home. Obviously over several occasions, but choosing to rare tonight. I chose this beer for the early service months for its promise of pure refreshment, and it delivers. Bright golden orange haze. Patchy foam head. Balanced well with biscuit like mat, and juicy citrus hops. Smooth and refreshing taste, flavorful while maintaining a light brew feel. Really easy to have this on tap and just keep it pouring. Slick finish with a late citrus reminder. Will always enjoy this brew. Hope it stays in their regular lineup.

hazy golden white color. Brings back childhood memories of reaching in the medicine cabinet for generic vitamin C in the plastic container. I get past the child lock lid and open and massive pungent oranges that reach back into the depth of the nostrils grabs you. Wow. Pungent. I detect some lemons in there as well. Low carbonation with excellent hop character and the vitamin C theme continues with lemons. I swear I feel healthier, or at least better, drinking this with every sip. So different. Juicy, but not acidic. Wow. Liked at first but starting to love. Really unique. Excellent
