473ml can. Pours a clear amber-orange with some floaties and a small, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, orange, peach and weedy hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, orange peel, peach, mango and pine resin in a dry, bitter grass finish. Medium body with a slick texture and average carbonation. Pretty solid.

Dark amber with a slight haze. Thin head. The aroma is quite chewy, lots of crystal malt, light pine, and an abundance of caramel. Turning back the clock with this one. On the palate, a fairly modest bitterness, lots of crystal malt, some biscuity notes as well, and a touch of caramel. Maybe berryish hop. More balanced on the palate, but definitely not in line with the brightness of modern pales (much less the hazy stuff, which is a different animal altogether). Just too chewy for me, even though it's clearly well-made and hits the mark it intends to.
