Bottle at home in London - no idea where I got it, but it was procured years ago. Pours clear, dim red with a bubbly, white head. Restrained aroma with notes of cherry skins, dried berries, leather, a little wood. Light sweet flavour with zippy acidity, assertive dryness, tart cherries, salt, lemons. Light bodied with sturdy carbonation. Bone dry on the finish, with cleansing acidity, salty bite, lots of drying cherry skins, a little woody bitterness, more tart lemon. Super quenching overall. Excellent.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a dark pink with a round light pink head. The aroma is damson, yeast, fake sugar. The flavour is moderate to strong sour with a big dry, acid citrus sour, light vinegar palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle @ Beavertown Brewery Tap Room - [ during RBESG14 ], Unit 17-18, Lockwood Industrial Park, Mill Mead Road, Tottenham, Greater London England N17 9QP. [ As Beavertown Backfield Damson Sour ].Unclear light medium red color with a small to average, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, cherry, baking yeast, sweet and tart cheery - berries. Flavour is moderate sweet and acidic with a average to long duration, tart, baking yeast, cherry, berries. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20140809]

Bottle at home picked up at the brewery. Clear pinky red coloured pour with orange highlights. Relucant halo of loose pink head. Aroma is tart apple, sour cherry, some musty acid. Quite pleasent with a little plastic note. Flavour is composed of really dry musty cherry and stone fruit, crisp tart acid. Very clean and direct with nice woody tanin, pips. Palate is crisp and uber dry, tart ciitric acid and wood tanin. Very refreshing and crisp.

Red/pinkish colour, no head. Sour aroma, plum, red berries, lemon, light almond. Sour flavour, red berries, citric acid, light yoghurt. Sour finish, plums, berries.

Bottle. Bright pinkish red color, almost flat. Aroma of dusty berries, cherries. Taste is tart cherry, plum, lemon, very acetic.

Bottle. Pours a reddish color with a small pinkish head. Has a fruity sour tart cherry aroma. Fruity sour tart flavor. Has a sour tart berry finish.

Bottle @ RBESG Aug 14 CBC Clapham. Pours clear red with white head. Light sour cherry aroma, taste lacks much in the way of damsons. Sour enough with very light berry but its fruitiness is disappointingly thin.

Bottle - Maraschino cherry, tart citrus. Red pink with a white thin head. Lots of acidity and I get very little else.
