Quite good in general. Nice meaty stout base with rather fetching peaty barrel vibes. Some rubber, earth, cocoa, smoke, maybe dark fruit. Really enjoyable and drinkable.

On tap at La Robe & La Mousse. Pours an oily black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a great smokey whiskey note with dark grains and a bit of roast coming through. Flavor combines dark grains and speyside well with a bit of roast and dark chocolate backing.

Pours black, oily and headless. Aroma full of smoke, peat, chocolate, Holunderbeeren. Taste is sweetish up front, trending mildly sour at the finish. Intense, lingering smoked sausage notes at the finish—oddly partnering with an oak, vanilla character. Heavy, oily body, mild carbonation. Fun and interesting, but not exactly harmonious.
