Bottle (6% ABV) shared at home, courtesy of Erzengel, many thanks! Pours deep copper with an off-white head. Nose is caramel, earthy bitterness, some grassy notes. Taste is earthy bitteress, some pine, caramel and bread. Heavy. Closes with a somewhat dumb bitterness, has a big, intense body and soft to average carbonation. A classic, English style IPA and while I have nothing against those, this one was kinda one dimensional and all around overwhelming.

Bottle, gift from a friend. Malty aroma with dull hop, some caramel, hint of grapefruit. Flavour is moderate bitter with some sweetness. Medium body. Drinkable brew but falls short as an IPA.

50 cl. flip-top bottle @ home, bought @ Edeka Kleve.
Clear amber with an off-white head. Malt and caramel aroma with hops. Sweet caramel taste with a bitter finish. Not hoppy enough and too malty. Slightly oxidized also. Not good.

And the next 0,5 l swing top bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Cloudy copper with an huge more than two finger pale beige head in the glass. Floral hop smell with some malt. Taste starts with floral bitter hop, resion and malt with some sweetness. Strong stuff with a long lasting aftertaste.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Starts intense grasy-spicy--hoppy, dry, bitter background. Fine fruity notes of lemon, some grapefruit. Fine bitter-hoppy finish. Nice!

(swing top bottle) Hazy, murky amber colour with a beige and loose foamy head. Fruity, piney and herbal spicy hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, dark and red berries, backed by mildly hints of toasted malt and caramel. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Dark malty start with toasted notes, caramel, as well as juicy fruity and slightly piney hoppy accents; slightly sticky finish with juicy hops and herbal-spice and cautious hints of cough syrup in the aftertaste. Likeable brew. 12.III.18

Beugelbuddel (BBF 24/3/2018): Light amber coloured, hazy, big and slowly collapsing loose yellowish head; dry herbal-bitter nose, a certain amount of sweetish pale malt in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 5.5%, not overly soft; lingering dry herbal-bitter finish, balancing malt hard to detect. Too thin, too unharmonic...

0.5 l bottle from ’Biermuda’, best before August 2017. Minimally hazy, dark reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity and slightly grassy aroma of caramel, strawberry jam, honey, citrus and some grass. Quite sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately fruity and a little grassy taste of caramel, honey, strawberry jam, citrus and some grass, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather grassy and slightly dry finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, a bit disappointing as an IPA though.

Giant bottle courtesy of ThirstyBird, thank you sir! Clear amber color, white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is slightly burnt caramel. No detectable hops. But I have to give credit to them for very bravely varying from the rigid formulae of German mainstream beers.
