Collaboration with Pinta from Poland. An old world Stock Imperial Baltic Porter featuring a blend of fresh bottom-fermented Baltic Porter and barrel aged top-fermented Baltic Porter

Taste: Sweet malts and red fruits slide down your tongue like velvet, with an oaky vinous character and strong biscuit flavour following. Hints of clean herbal hoppy bitterness and umami join in, with a light peppery spiciness lingering on the tongue.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a dense and noisy fawn-coloured head slowly fading over a jet black body, leaving lacing rings down the glassware. Roasted black chocolate aromas, hints of smoke. Fine blended taste profile of grainy chocolate, prunes, dark plums, and molasses, lightly spiced. Smoothly roasted end. Full duration even tough it does not taste that strong. Excellent sipper on a Saturday afternoon. (Tromsø 04.04.2020).

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Opaque colour, small beige head. Toasted dark malts, coffee, plum, light alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Very dark malts with alcohol kicking in. Some wood, ash, ink in the flavour. Overall quite dry, dominating bottom-ferment yeast character. Interesting.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - bottled on 21.01.2020 - BB 21.01.2022, from Alko, 20200327) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and vineousness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, ash, cocoa powder and bitterness. Aftertaste had cocoa powder, dark chocolate and bitterness. A very pleasant burnt brew that hid its very high ABV very well.

Smell of syrup, tar, oak, mämmi. Black colour, dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, mämmi, tar, some oaky and peppery notes. Also rye bread. Bitter, sweet. Soft, plentiful carbon. Slightly overwhelming heaviness, but very good.
