Taste: Sweet malts and red fruits slide down your tongue like velvet, with an oaky vinous character and strong biscuit flavour following. Hints of clean herbal hoppy bitterness and umami join in, with a light peppery spiciness lingering on the tongue.

Bottle shared at home during a covid-19 video chat. Pours black with a fine sheet of head. Aroma is licorice, dark malts, chocolate and coffee. A bit of smoke, a bit of vanilla. Big body, thick velvety mouthfeel. Flavour is very rich and malty, dark malts with intense flavours of chocolate, coffee and licorice. Quite boozy, long lingering sweet caramel and chocolate fudge notes. Lovely.

Tap at Galerie Piva Vršovice. Pitch black body, beige head. Huge, lean aroma, raisins mixing with coffee, light caramel. Plum notes, big maltiness, spicy, light caramel, sweetish and clean in general, with alcohol notes showing up as it warms. Actually, quite tasty, quite good anyway, as it frequently is with these breweries!

Botella 33 CL en vivalabirra Oviedo 06..03..2020. Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro que desaparece al poco tiempo casi por completo. Sabores intensos maltosos con suaves cafés y toques de licores y maderas empapadas. Suave amargo al final algo seco. Ligeros dulces maltosos. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio y bastante sabor. Algo seca al final. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna.

Już po przeczytaniu info na etykiecie zapowiada się nieźle, blend dwóch porterów bałtyckich z czego jeden BA. Trzeba dobrze ogrzać bo długo się otwiera ale jest dość bogato złożenie choć beczka gdzieś w tle dopina całość na pierwszym planie czekolada, pumpernikiel, słodkie owoce podsuszone ( nie suszone ) wiśnia w alkoholu, po mocnym ogrzaniu i zamieszaniu szkła jakby delikatne bretty, wiśniowa kwaskowość, likier. W smaku bardziej czarne aniżeli brązowe , jest gorzka czekolada i delikatna paloność, jednak pojawia się suszona śliwka, kakao, na finiszu drewno, taniny, cierpkość. Ciekawe.

Barwa niemal czarna, piana beżowa, obfita, dość trwała. W aromacie czekolada, paloność, ciemny chleb, kawa. W smaku półsłodkie, sporo deserowej czekolady, nieco nut palonych, kawowych, do tego czarne pieczywo. Goryczka niska do średniej, wysycenie niskie do średniego, ciała nie brakuje, alkohol dobrze ukryty, piwo dobrze ułożone. Bardzo dobre ale nie ma w nim niczego co by zrywało papę.

33cl bottle bought at the brewery. Close to pitch black with a decent, beige head. Roasty aroma with dark chocolate, licorice, dark, dried fruits and hints of coffee. Sweet, smooth and complex with a slightly dry finish. Alcohol is well integrated and this is desserty, warming and dangerously drinkable. [Estonian beer #1000]
