330mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small tan head. Aroma is full of rum fumes, with lots of perfume, maybe a touch of maple, and caramel — wow, that is hot. Flavour is a little less boozy, with subdued maple, intensely hot rum, and caramel. Perfumey and boozy—the rum barrels really take over. A boozy hot mess, though the maple does add a decent element.

Very dark brown, fine creamy head. Heavy solventy smell at first, but opens up into some decent rummyness with only a bit of battery cleaner in the background. Nice body. Taste is supercheap rum mostly, no clue where the maple went besides some sweetness. As it opens up, a hint of the maple appears. Unfortunately, it also becomes very watery and the offensive rum solvent remains. Meh.

Can from Deconinck. Hazy dark brown, lasting, foamy, tan head. Aroma of lots of green apple (acetaldehyde), raisin, date, toffee, caramel sauce, marmalade, brown rum, cooked plum, stewed pear. Taste has sweet date, raisin, marmalade & green apple returning, giving off a sour touch,, syrupy & caramelly malty body with a 'pecan-nutty' edge .Woody, herbal hoppy finish, dried fruit, caramel & heating brown rum alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Not bad but acetaldehyde is too strong here. Could do with ageing, in a bottle...

Alkoholischer, dunkel holziger Beginn, etwas oxidiert wirkend. Ahornsirup, weiche Süße, die alkoholische Note verschwindet schnell. Rum, vernachlässigbare Herbe, langer holziger Abgang. Okay, schön weich. 9/8/9/10/8/9
