Si À Moi (IIPA version)

[10/7/13] Draught at Delirium Hoppy Loft in Brussels. Amber-colored with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of resinous and piney hops, some caramelly malt and a bit of fruitiness. Flavor starts sweetish, malty and caramelly, continues hoppy, piney and bitter, a bit alcoholic in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Draft @ Hoppy Loft, tks Max. Couleur ambrée-orangée, col fin blanc cassé. Le bouquet conserve des effluves influencées par des houblons américains côté ouest et vallée de Yakima. Notes que l’on retrouve parfois dans les bières de Rogue. On retrouve un bouquet fruité aux notes nobles et exotiques. Le tout relevé par des popintes de malts. Le palais conserve un penchant pour les houblons qui sans trop dominer qui ajoutent une belle complexité et amertume de fin de bouche, le tout sur un fruité agréable. Les malts ajoutent un côté pâle caramel sur un léger grillé. Sympa comme nouveauté Fleurac.

Okay this one has led to a lot of confusion. Apparently they made 2 EU version of this beer, both same name but completely different beers. This one is both bottled & kegged. There is also an imperial porter out there with the same name but they only have kegs of that one but no bottles. Delirium Hoppy Loft got one keg of each, no indication or explanation as to what is what. Sampled draft @ Delerium Hoppy Loft. Appearance: hazy amber, with a white head, nose is full of exotic hops. Mango, grapefruit, tangerine coupled with sweet banana and brown sugar. Taste is more towards bitter herbs. Heavy on hops. With in the background caramel malts. Brown sugar, banana yeast, finishes with a mix of herbal and exotic hops. M/M body. Pretty nice brew & much like the other BAQ, suspiciously good for Fleurac. The porter is a lot nicer in my opinion. At least Fleurac has improved a lot in the quality department now if they can improve in the communication department, we have got ourselves a nice thing going here.
