Hazy golden body with a small white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with some sugar and fruit. Sweet fruity flavor, light yeast, some caramel, and a bit of spice.

Poured a transparent gold with a spit liek white head. Smells heavy of yeasty and faintly of alcohol. Flavor is heavy on the yeast, slightly musty with a touch of honey and super sweet fruits. Finish is clean but a little flat. Not the best from a solid brewer and not a great representative of the style.

I like what Otter Creek has done with these special releases, up to this point. This beer is a complete miss, I even thought to give it some time and have had it cellaring it for a month since i bought it. Well, its still came out as a crappy Tripel. First its the clearest yellow tripel I have ever seen, clear body and can see everything from one side to the other. The aroma is at least recognizable as a tripel with that earthy belgian candi aroma. But its rather weak and has nothing past that. Taste is complete empty, absolutely nothing to show for itself. Boo this beer, boooooo.

Clear golden ale with a thin white head. Lightly sweaty malt with light notes of coriander and malt. Buttery sweet malt, oily mouthfeel, with loads of oranges and a medium bodied. On tap at BCTC 2006.
