Handbottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a black body and a tan head. Aroma is rich with chocolate, alcohol, roast, lactose and a lot of fruity esters. Taste is a little bit sour with plums, dark fruits, coffee and roast. Light bubbles and a dry finish.

bottle from Matt, thanks! Pours with a loud ssssstttt......nice big black body with a thin dark tan head. The aroma is really nice on this with tons of roasty, toasted malt notes, some coffee, and chocolate lingering around. The flavor is very roasty...wow, very thick and chewy with some very nice malt character. All dark with chocolate and a last sip of coffee with some grinds kind of consistancy. Carbonation is moderate with a silky feel that ends with a light presence of alcohol and some yeast esters bringing an almost fruity note. I’m suprised that this held up hand bottled for these few months, very nice!

From TBS2, thanks Matt. It wasn’t well carbonated. Color is black, cannot see through it but not a totally eclipse of the heart. Aroma is a weird spice, not sure if it from the yeast or an adjunct. Its floral and feathery. There is some chocolate and roast in there as well. Flavor losses that spice twang and its just some watery dark malts, faint roast. I would like to try this on tap.
12oz, sort of official hand bottle as I understand, Duvel tasting glass.

12 oz hand bottle, shared by beastiefan2k. Pour is hazed ruby brown black, with a thinnish tan head. No lacing. Aroma of spicy clove yeastiness, touch of sweet brown sugar, some chocolate roasty maltiness. Has a stout or porter nose with Belgian yeastiness. Taste is the roast mostly, some of the dark cocoa powder, the spice clove is present, but pretty well faded. Palate is pretty flat, though the medium more viscuosu mouthfeel works for it. Decent one, thanks for sharing Eugene.

12 ounce handbottle courtesy of Immy via TheBeerSommelier. Thanks Tim and Matt! Pours a very dark brown color. A faint hiss as I opened the bottle, but no head. Aroma of chocolate, light roast, banana, caramel, raisin. Taste is roasted malts, grapes, banana, chocolate. Full bodied. Quite nice.
