12 oz bottle. Pours dark brown, but looks black in the glass. Brown foam and some dotted lacing happening. Initially banana bread on the sniff, then on a deeper one I imagine a dark chocolate covered banana. Yum!Creamy mouthfeel. I taste bitter chocolate malts, banana is hidden at first, but present in the finish. Its mixed with a malt ball coffee grinds and some bitter chocolate.

Sample from growler at the Beers from the Bikes Villes tasting on 11/08/2013. Dark brown pour with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bananas and roasted malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, vanilla and faint banana. The finish is roasty with a cocoa aftertaste. Decent overall.
