This beer is a hazy amber color with a touch of brown around the edges, and a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Malt, caramel and fruit in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and a bit of earthy hop. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Average overall.

Plastic glass draft at Snow Creek ski resort in Weston, Missouri. The pour is a clear brown copper with a 1/2 inch frothy light tan head. The aroma is apple fruit sweet, caramel malt and some floral in the back. The taste is sweet green apple fruit, light malt caramel behind that and not too much else. The palate is light to medium bodied with active coarse carbonation. A bit flat in the finish. The beer was somewhat unclean as it warmed.

Moving out of KS rate-a-poolza. 12oz bottle poured into a .25L Corsendonk goblet. No date, but at least the store where I bought it cold stores all the beer.
A quick note about Weston beers: they used to be infected and undrinkable but about 2-3 years ago they fixed the issue, almost deserves a new entry.
Pours amber-red with a medium head that quickly fades. Loud head. Body is a bit hazy with a low clarity. Aroma is malt driven, low on hops. A muddy, earthy aroma with light vegetal and stale breadiness. Flavor follows suit coming off as an amberish scottish/bitter. I think that is the intention. Better than the ratings but nothing to search out.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber with a white head that starts at the edges and remains. Aroma has a lot of bread and biscuit malts with a bit of caramel and straw backing. Flavor is similar with very sweet grains and biscuit backed by a bit of caramel. Doesn’t work for me.

Pour is a dark brown with a whtie head. Aroma is some caramel malt with a bit of sourness. Flavor is grainy sweet malt and again a little sour. Finish leaves a malty resin on the tounge. Still the sourness of this beer is what brings it down.

12 oz bottle from Thiesti, who hasn’t rated this! Nose is fruity with caramel malt and yeast. Hazy copper with a medium cream colored head. Flavor is light, cidery apples and caramel. Pretty good Irish ale!
