16 ounce can. Translucent cola brown color. Small creamy beige cap. Sweet toasted malt aroma hints at toffee and dried dark fruits. Flavor follows nose. Added notes of molasses, smokey peat and chocolate cherry candy. Mildly complex. Sticky mouthfeel. Quite tasty.

Swingtop bottle. First of all, just a delicious beer. Pours with a brown body and small head. Aroma is earthy sweetness, perfect mix. Flavor is similar, just the right dry earthy and nutty caramel. Perfectly medium-light body yet felt on the cheeks. IT almost sounds too simple but try to do it, I dare you.

Swing top growler shared by beastiefan2k - thanks, Eugene! - hazy purple - thick off white head that settles to a soapy lace - lovely nose of caramelized sugars, toffee, plum, a light bit of smoke, leather - soft carbonation, moderately creamy in the mouth - not as sweet as expected - opens with leafy bitterness and a light tartness - this is followed by complex earthy notes, light peat - some sweet notes of toffee and dark fruits follow - finishes with a touch of chocolate - a very well-executed wee heavy.
