Mange elsker lakridskonfekt, men når jeg som brygger har spurgt: Hvad kan du bedst lide i en pose lakridskonfekt? Er svarende mange og meget forskellige. Så mit udgangspunkt for at brygge en lakridskonfekt øl har været, de runde stykker med lakrids i midten, og en enten en rød eller gul kokosmasse udenom. Dette er for mig essensen af lakridskonfekt.

Draught @ Delaneys, Odense. Pours Black with a small head. Full bodied. Soft. Massive lagermand lakridskonfekt. Primaily japanstænger - coconut. Artificial.

Tap@SKAAL, Copenhagen (13/08/2020) - black with a tan head. Sweet and light roasted malty, lots of milky chocolate, dark chocolate shred, caramel and toffee, coconut, medium body, lingering sweet dark malty finish.

Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a fading brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coconut, light chocolate, licorice. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, coconut, cocoa, licorice, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with light warming alcohol. 140720

Bottle 50 cl. Licorice All-sorts Stout. Pours an opaque black with a smallish, light brown head. Coconut aroma, but with an oddly burned touch. Rich, sweet, roasty body with licorice notes, but the coconut domiates throughout. It's sweet but not cloyingly so, and boozy but not terribly. Nice one. 290420

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of liquorice, coconuts, roasted malt, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of liquorice, roasted malt, coconuts, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.
