2009 Vintage. 75 cl. one-time brew. Sampled @ Modeste 2013. An experimental brew that actually has no name at all. I picked up one of the bottles on display & tried finding the name, finding only a picture & bottling date as the label. I asked for help, they said that it was namely. After I stared long enough into their eyes like a rabbit trapped in the headlights of a car, they said that you can call it “Demo” bier as in demo = first try, experiment. Later on I found the name in the booklet… As for the beer itself. It poured a pale golden citrus, little white head. Nose is pretty interesting herbs, candy sugar, cough drops, lemongrass & oxidation, odd but interesting. Taste is lemongrass, cough drops, touch lemonade, Vicks, BE yeast, light wheat, coriander, candy & white sugar. Interesting but not particularily compelling to a lot of. Light bodied & little carb.
