Arend Tripel is a golden, blond delicious tripel with an ageable hoppy scent, a silken mouthfeel; a subtle malty taste, a delicate bitterness of hops and a delicious aftertaste with a surprising fruitiness without being overly sweet. It has a very balanced and enjoyable bitter finish that lingers briefly.

330ml bottle. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, light Belgian yeast. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, rich, toffee caramel, light warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a slightly murky golden/amber colour with a thick foamy white head. Aromas of apricot, pear, peach, banana, pineapple, floral and spice. Taste has all the same notes as the aroma with added peppery spice. A high carbonated lively palate. Medium body and a fairly long fruity peppery spice finish. One of the better tripels i have tried. Good.

Bottle at Moeder Lambic St Gilles. Bit of caramel on the aroma surprisingly, and lots of yeastiness, apple, bit of sweetness. This beer is making me hiccup for some reason. Taste is pretty good, apple fruitiness. Bit of sugary sweetness, tripel fruit, surprisingly light, and a little bit of bitterness too. Nice and light tripel.

Tap, Café Morshuis Albergen. Raspberry and citrus in the aroma. Bitter cookies and blackcurrant flavor with a firm flowery and earthy hopbitterness, lingering on in the aftertaste. Just hints of tartness and metal in the finish. Tasty beer, hardly a tripel, but with a distainct farmhouse character. Tasted a 10 year old version from tap @morshuis Albergen. Has kept remarkably well. Strong sherry notes in the aroma and flavor. Still some Carbon left. Toffee. Still very drinkable.

Rather dry tripel, a bit grassy, notes of sweet malts. Easy drinkable. Not bad.

Shared bottle at home. Pours hazy deep golden with dense off-white head. Aroma of ripe fruits, bread, some citrus. Tastes pretty sweet with little bitterness. Medium bodied, highly carbonated, dry mouthfeel, slightly bitter finish.
