Bottle, 7%. Slightly hazy golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, fruit hop and a little caramel. Flavour is malt, yeast, fruit, medium sweet, little bitter, little metallic, hop, apple, little over carbonated with notes of phenols.

Golden colour, slight white head. Malty aroma, toast, very light hops, some definite sweet touches. Sweet malty flavour, some bitter hops. Fresh bitter finish, light lingering sweetness.
Quite light, standard beer.

Brown 33cl bottle, best before 30th Sep 2010, reviewed during one of my ’random beer’ tasting evenings in mid-Sep 2010, some two weeks before its best before date. Poured into a stemmed ’Hoegaarden Grand Cru’ tulip: A huge foaming snow white head formed, which produced very little lacing as the beer sank. Golden Syrup in colour, but with a large amount of floaters, because the beer was so highly carbonated it gushed out of the bottle bringing all the sediment. No really strong aromas to report, some yeast esters and hints of citrus fruits if I sniffed for long enough. The flavours again were not strong, pretty non-discriptive to be honest. Not overly impressed with anything about this beer.

Pretty average blond beer again. Pretty clear golden color, white head. Smell little sweet, grains, malts and a little fruity. Taste ok, low to medium body.

Bottle. An almost clear, golden body is topped by a big, dense, off-white head. Fruity nose with a grainy touch, rather sweetish. Sweet, yet dryish, flavor, mostly fruity, with some bitterness lurking in the background. Medium body. A sort of quenching one, tasteful and easy drinking, but not world class in any way. 110204

330 ml bottle. Slightly dim, pale yellow body with a big creamy white head. Mild fruity aroma with some spices and yeast. Flavor is pleasant sweet and fruity with spices. Nothing really special as often with blond, but quaffable and easy forgotten.

Bottle: Deep orangey-golden coloured, hazy, stable firm white foam; sweet grainy nose, mixed with orange-peel and a light mushroomy-yeasty (cellary) touch, some alcohol detectable in the background; moderate to solid sweet-tart flavour, medium bodied; a light alcohol burn in the sweet-fruity and slightly tart finish. O.K., but quite characterless.....
