Hazy red with a meidum pink head. Sweetish aroma with champagne and fruity notes. Flavour was sweet with cherry, raspberries, and hints of almonds. Finished sweet. At least it’s not artificial and cloying sweet. Refreshing

33 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden red with a small pink head. Light chemical and phenolic aroma. Slight rotten and phenolic flavoured with a distinct berry fruity flavoured. Bitter and acidic to citric finish.

Draught at ZBF09. No aroma. Nice cloudy deep red colour. Very small dark pink head. The flavour starts off sweet, a little like berry juice. OK citric. The hibiscus is sweet and fruity and gives a mild herbal note.

Spectacular cardinal red beer with faint haze, with small to medium cyclamen head; some lace. Faint fruity, slightly sourish nose, very (too) discreet. Vinous, fruity, flavours of - indeed - hibiscusflower tea, blood oranges, honey and faintly oxydized malts. Finish is slightly more sweet than the more acidic onset, but intensively fruity. Medium body, very slick, faint alcoholwarming. Otherwise excellent try - just like with the Sureau. The failure with the Rose is all the more regrettable.
