500 ml bottle, shared by abemorsten. Unfiltered and bottom fermented. ABV is 5.7%. Black colour, moderate to low beige head. Pleasant and moderately roasty aroma, notes of chocolate, Nice and smooth flavour of chocolate malts, hints of mild coffee, but a little more bittering hops would not hurt.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Starts mild-malty, fine roasty-dry. Soft-malty finish, not too dry, hints of chocolate. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. Nice!

50 cl bottle @ olio, BBE 01.11.2012
Aroma has coffee, licorice and hints of cocoa. Also signs of grainy malt typical to lager beers. A bit thin feeling here. Flavour is somewhat malty and dry with coffee, some licorice and hints of vegetables. A bit thin stuff but I like the richness of the flavour.

500ml bottle picked up at the Fine Food store at Kastrup half a year ago. Shared with Finn. Tiny, beige head. Black as pitch apart from a brownish shade. Mid-sweet, dark malty nose. Sweet malty taste slightly roasted in flavour added by oat, dark fruits and a little note of lactose. Dry bitter tail. Feels a rather thin in the mouth. Accepted (Troms. 01.05.2012)

0,5 l. bottle. Dark brown colour with a small, creamy off-white head. Nice roasted aroma with coffee and vanilla. Taste light bitter and roasted, with some, dark bitter chocolate and a little bit of smoke. Medium body with an oily texture. Finishes with a light hoppy bitterness, coffee and caramel. A bit more body would suit this this otherwise fine beer.
