Bottle shared at The Cad’s 10 year get together. 29/03/2015. Thanks to Ian. Aroma is tea leaves, hedgerow berry, spicy hop with some hop matter. Semi clear orange coloured pour with a thin white head. Flavour is composed of pale grains, cereals, dull grassy hops, Palate is dull, airy carbonation. Not a fan of this.

Bottle at the Cads 10th Anniversary bash, thanks to Ian, 29/03/15. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is bready, straw, pale malt, grain, orange. Taste comprises light citric peel, pale malt, more bread, faint orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Pretty basic model, looks and feels good but lacks direction at the business end, blandometer running to mid amber.

Bottle shared at the Cad’s 10th Anniversary Tasting - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Ian! Pours unclear gold with a frothy white head. The nose holds pale bread, light paper, lemon rind. Medium sweet flavor with more paper and lemon, some more pale bready sugars. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, a little grassy, with lingering paper and rindy lemon. Eh, nothing to shout about.

Bottle at The Cad’s 10 yr Shindig. Thanks to Ian. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is toasty, grainy, biscuit and cereal. The taste is bitter, toasted grain, toasty sugars, cereal and a hint of citrus with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. It doesn’t blow me away, but it drinks pretty well.

Hazy to cloudy medium amber colour, big but thin foamy off-white head, mostly lasting, fair lacing. Aroma fruity, grapefruit, yeast, basement, citrus. Taste mild bitter, slightly sweet, grapefruit, paper. Medium body, oily to watery texture, lively carbonation, finish soft dry bitter (lingering), chalky, herbal notes, overall on the thin side, acceptable though.
