Golden/amber pour with a decent white head. Aromas of citrus, peach, quite fruity with herbs. Taste is malt, quite a bit of yeast, bitter orange, decent bitter finish. Belgian twist on an IPA for sure - question is if you should add sugar to an IPA.

Barwa złota, zamglone, piana biała, dość obfita, dość trwała. W aromacie estry, przyprawy, skórka pomarańczy, znikome inne cytrusy. W smaku wytrawne, estry, owoce. Goryczka niska do średniej, nieco ściągająca, wysycenie w normie, ciało lekkie. W miarę, w miarę.

Bottled. Golden colour with a creamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is citrus, some slight bready and mild spicy sweetness. Flavour is citrus, some quite bitter tones with mild yeasty spiciness and some fruity elements.

Very clear copper coloured body with a golden and fairly crisp yellow tint, all with a zillion bubbles rising from the bottom and leaving a thinnish, pure white head on top. Aroma of deep grass, hay, flowers and a good deal of belgian yeast that shows a lot of spiciness along with a good hit of coriander seed, light grain and of course a noticeable, but not pungent (especially compared to Americans) hit of lower alpha acid hops. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong crisp floral and grassy notes dominate here with a large bit of belgian yeast and richness coming through right at first with a lot of citrus flavours right behind, but also a big bitterness, considering the lower alpha acid hops here, but the yeast and malt adds some to the bitterness here and complexity, especially near the end. Aftertaste is very dry, pretty grassy, very spicey from the Belgian yeast and robust throughout from the malts and the balance with a little bit of sugars, but this of course is all about the yeast, the floral notes and a crisp, but light hoppiness. Overall, a good beer to try and great, especially for the price! I sampled this stubby, 33 cL bottle, purchased from Del Haize [grocery] in the centre of Bruxelles, Belgium on 18-January-2015 for just €1,00, a few days after my second daughter was born, but with my friend - Thanks Phil for the memories!

getrunken in einem französischen Restaurant in Sopot Es ist ein schön gestaltetes belgisches IPA, sofern man dies als eigenen Bierstil sehen kann. Es ist eine fein ausgewogene Mischung aus bitter-hopfigen Aromen und belgischen Gewürznoten nach Anis, Koriander, Zimt und Nelken. Das ganze ist wunderbar verwoben und man bekommt ein besonders interessantes Geschmackserlebnis.

Bottle at Manola III, Brussels on 4th February 2022. Hazy, deep amber with shallow, loose white foam and full lacing. Spicy citrus aroma. Citrus and pungent spices in-mouth followed by a dry, grassy and somewhat peppery finish. Medium bodied with an engaging texture.
