Golden blond colour with lasting head and good carbonation. Well balanced. Grainy. Lots of light malts. Light bitterness in the finish.

Commissioned Belgian blond, bottle from Willems. Medium thick, off-white, lacing, stable head over a peach blonde beer with brownish hue, completely cloudy from the start, usually a bad omen in this type of beers. Rather weak aroma of peach, lemon zest, some banana, strong gooseberry, wet straw, field flowers, papaja, fried egg, white pepper, toasted bread, bitter honey, jute and a (luckily) faint ’ureum touch’. Crisp, estery onset, redcurrant sourishness and strawberry sweetishness, hints of banana and apricot, minerally carbonation rendering the mouthfeel a bit coarse, slick caramelly malt sweetness, lean, with a slightly nutty edge to it somewhere; deep earthy, floral and leafy hop bitterness in the end with above average duration, drying the finish but well in balance with the malt sweetness. Turns out quite nice, better than expected and quite okay in terms of flavour balancing, but still a very middle of the road Belgian blonde.

26/06/2015 @home - 33cl bottle from a gift. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma : floral, light bitter hops yeast. Taste : yeast, light fruit en bitter, some sweetness. Yeast seems to be overpowering the rest a bit.

Pours clear blonde, rather small white head. Smell is kinda bitter, but very weak. Smell is bitter, very sharp and loads of yeast. Bit malty backbone, in a very metallic way. also has a sweet sidenote, but all is overpowered by the yeast and ’plastic’ like bitterness.... Sounds awefull, but the beer ain’t , actually. But its also not a good one, unfortunately.

Cloudy yellow golden colour, big foamy off-white head, dissipates after a while, light sticky lacing. Sweet fruity aroma, bit banana, grainy, yeasty, citrus. Medium bitter and sweet taste, fruity and yeast notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste dry bitter, fruity and herbal notes, finish bit earthy, decent but nothing special.
