bottle, courtesy of Allen! Deep dark brown, nearly black colour with a small beige head. Malt, roasetd malt, toffee, coffee and some spices in the aroma. Rather light-bodied, shy malty flavours with hints of roasted malts, caramalt and gingerbread. Pleasantly spicy with some good aromatic hops in the lingering finish. Good, but lacks a bit in deepness maltwise. Perhaps that would have come with age. Nevertheless a very fine brew. Danke Allen!

Bottle. Sour aroma. The taste is sour with a creamy malty (more porteresque) finish. Strangest porter ever?

750ml Bottle. Pours deep mahogny, lots of yeast and a off white head. Sour aroma. Tastes sour with a rosted finish that recebles a porter but for the rest i doubt that it is one...

The bottle looks good, but a bit complex. The beer in the glass dirty-brown, small head. Starts fruity with a slight sourishness. Finish becomes more and more dry, a bit mushy-moldy. Not my favouite. Thanks to Allen for the bottle!

Bottled Pours dark brown -almost black- with a big, airy head. Aroma is extremly sour; pure acid. Very thin mouth feel and vey sour flavour. Undrinkable; down the drain it went.
This one was most likely infected and unfortenately I don’t have another one to rate.

75cl bottle. This is one interesting approach to a porter. pours brown, thick beige head. aroma was bitter, floral hops with a tobacco leaf nose, yeasty, some fruits and a medicinal herbal scent followed by some light roastiness. taste, had light notes of green tea leaves followed by some bitterness floral. Remains crisp, hops adding some citrus elements, but then also some tart berry touch, some roasted malts also noted. Strange that the bottle indicates the beer to be a Bière de Garde. I really could not connect with this medicinal/herbal side.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Lightly hazy nut brown, rich head. Tart lactic cherry nose. Dry despite underlying saccharine sweetness. Yeasty with oak and black currant fruitiness. Intensely flavourful and completely typical BFM crazyness.
