75cl. Dark red-brown with a nice fruity nose. The beer starts deep and fruity-sourish. Especially deep for the 5,5%. Fresh sourish with hints of wood and malt in the aftertaste, round and intense.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour with firm, frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit (prunes, raisins), caramel, dark bread, a touch of coffee, a slight oxidization and a mild lactic sourness. Fruity, malty, tart taste with dried fruit, prunes, sour cherries, caramel, dark bread, black-currant, hints of coffee and a sweet and sour finish with balanced bitterness and a certain sourness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. This was a fairly old bottle (best before November 2013), and the sourness raises an eyebrow. But I suspect it’s supposed to be fairly sour, knowing the brewery and reading the early ratings. I wouldn’t classify this as a porter, it’s more like a black saison. And as such, it’s quite a nice one.

Thx. to Sebletitje // 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG 2012 // dark brown, lightly reddish, small mocha head // nose on this is quite spritzy, lots of berries, fruity esters, light yeast all with a light sour tang // spritzy carbonation quite dominates the flavour, berries, esters, quite lot of yeast, some citrus & sour tang, some sweeter malt as well, branches quite a bit of them, fruity // spritzy carb. // intriguing & I am interested, was this supposed to be this way & porter ??

11/VIII/2012 - 33cl bottle @ RBBSG - BB: n/a - (2012-868) Thanks to Sebletitje for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy beige brown beer, small off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: urine, sourish, herbal, little bitter. MF: soft to no carbon, light body. Taste: nasty, that's as far as I can get. Man I do not like this brew at all, it's disgusting.

Sampled at RBBSG. Murky brown color, medium sized beige head. Smell slightly malty, sourish but also a sweetish hint to it. Taste is lightly sour, a bit fruity. A bit low bodied, low to medium carbo.

Friska och fruktig. Syrligt vinöst, en sommaröl som måste upplevas på tungan.
