A golden amber ale with a thick off white head. A nice fruity banana aroma with light cloves and vanilla fudge. In mouth, a light flowery sweetness, bananas, bubble gum. Light bodied. A decent beer for its price. 0.69 euros in a supermarket, Belgium, tasted November 2006.

To me this is in-between the Grand Cru and the Wit. Grassy, yeasty and clean.

One of my favourite summer beers. Hazy amber coloured, thick off-white head. Aroma of caramel, spice and wheat. Flavour is spicy, caramel and slightly roasted malts. Very soft and refreshing.

Bottled(330ml). -Straight from the bottle sitting on the bench on the banks of the Herengracht canal in Amsterdam.
The aroma is yeasty, malty and spicy with notes of caramel and vegetables. Light sweet finish.

Pours a dark amber colour with a moderate ammount of sediment resulting in a fair amount of off-white head. Slightly spicey aroma and a similar taste, a slight taste of hops with some malt flavours and a little dried fruit. It’s a little watery, particularly considering the style and the after-taste is limited. not bad, but not great.
