Hazy deep red color, good off-white head, lace. Caramel, yeast, alcohol, overriped banaa and wood in the nose. Medium-bodied. Quite alcoholic, yeasty flavor with light sourness. Then of course also some caramel, hay and wood. Different than normal Grimbergen at least.

Bottle. Lighter amber color with an off-white head. Earthy amber malt aroma with caramel, cinnamon, spice. Dry amber malt flavor with a touch of caramel. Not too sweet, though not much flavor going on at all, really. Disappointing.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Pours a nice clear copper colour with (as others have stated) an off white head. Aromas of raisins, sultanas, plums, figs. Interesting. Flavours of roasted malts, bitter chocolate, blackberries, pear. Finishes mildly hoppy.

Bottled 330ml. -Clear amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, fruity malty nose. Sweet malty, decent spicy and slight caramel taste with notes of fruits and alcohol. A bit unbalanced but good beer. Low carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!) Poured a brown-red body with a medium slightly off white head that went away somewhat slowly. Strong sweet malty nose, some candied orange and spice. The taste is smooth, sweet maltiness, slightly spicey, light bubblegum near the end. Not bad but slightly stale in some way.

dark amber, large thick offwhite head. spicy and sweet (honey?) aroma, malts, faint flowery aroma too. nice. flavor is slightly fruity, quite spicy yet appears mild and round. well balanced but also lacks some punch in some way, sort of a bit diluted feeling to it.

On tap @ De Beiaard. Amber colour, white head. Aroma of caramel malts and hops, flavour is malty sweet, a bit cloying, with caramel. Dry finish. Slightly metallic.

Bottle at the Kulminator. Dark brown/amber with a beige frothy head. Fruity, somewhat vinous aroma. Flavor is a bit raisin with a touch of, perhaps, citrus. Near medium body with smooth carbonation. Has a touch of metal. Finish is very well balanced, leaving fruit and bitter together.
