#100 IPA. 75 cl. bottle split @ Delrium Hoppy Loft. Same as the previous one tried, plastic corked & caged. Limited to 4000 bottles. Bottled in Nov. 2012 and very xtreme. Pours bright golden with a creamy white head. Smell is sweet floral with a bit of sweet citrus, bitter Columbus / USA citrus hops blended with sweetness & bitter grass. Taste carries same sweet coconut & yeast thing as the Sorachi Ace one had, thick yeast, banana, sweet floral blended with bitter USA citrus hops, dominant but that combination of sweetness to “balance” it, bitter grass & some caramel, coconut milky. Body is way too full for an IPA to me & once again objectionable to me. Too “balanced” – everyone is quite digging these so its just me.

1/II/13 - 75cl bottle from Delhaize @ home as aperitif (with Wim and Hilde) (2013-107)
Clear pale orange beer, aery off-white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, strawberries, peaches, candy, bubble gum, sugary. MF: good carbon, medium to full body. Taste: citrus, very grassy, sweet malts, some honey, fruity, bit floral, soapy touch but not bad. Aftertaste: citrus, bit floral, fruity, sweet and sugary, nice bitter finish. Very good beer. Either this or the Citra version is my favourite. Would have to taste them again next to each other.
