Bottle from the lcbo. Aroma lacks much character, it's watery cherry, with some minerals and light tin. Mouth feel is OK, carb is standard. Finish is quite tart actually, with a sweet cherry finish.

Bottle at home. Aroma is big sweet and tart cherries, tart red fruits with a touch of oak. Flavour is pretty sweet and moderate sour. Body is medium. Pretty sweet and lacking dryness, but I like this.

On tap at SP Cellar. Pours a dark ruby with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is cherry skin, leather, wood. Slick body, sweet cherry, jammy, wood, nice tartness, very good.

0,25l bottle at home. very old label, date says 10.11.93, which I assume is BB(?). As "Jacobins kriek-lambic 5.5%". copper clear color, no head. smells honey, spices, earthy, hints of musty berries, lots of oxidation. medium body, no carbonation. tastes dusty, some sweetness, lots of oxdiation notes, sherry notes, some honey, bit metallic. finishes bitter sweet with metallic and oxidation notes. this probably has seen better times.

2016 bottle. Thanks, Joe! Pours a dark, reddish-brown color, with a small, beige film. The nose is sharp cherry, lime, caramel malts, almond, and vanilla. Sweet and fruity, with a smooth, lovely, sour flavor. Medium body, with a smooth, velvety palate. This is an excellent, balanced, and clean sour.

11.2 oz bottle received as day 1 of a 12 day advent mixed pack from my wife. Date of production 05 15 18. The pour is a ruby red, golden with a 1 inch pinkish white head. The aroma is sweet cherry fruit, vanilla and a bit of oak. The taste is brightly sweet cherry, almost soda flavored, then turns to the oak wood and vanilla adding to the character. The palate is medium bodied with fine active carbonation and big sugar after taste.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a reddish brown color with a huge creamy redddish head that left no lacing. The aroma was black cherry, yeast and cola. The flavor was very tart and sour with cherry, yeast and cola. Very long finish. Medium body.
