Pours deep red with a pink head. Aroma has notes of artificial cherry, almond and sugar. Taste is heavy sweet and light sour with a slightly dry, sweet cherry and sugary finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

0.25l bottle. A lovely deep warm red color, almost burgundy actually and it's clear with a nice big and lasting pinkish head. Sweet and sticky fruity on the nose with a ton of sweet cherries, a whole lot of almond essence and some plain normal white sugar. According to the aroma this should be quite a sticky and sweet one. Well, not as sticky as I had thought, more thin and really watery actually. Thick and powerful on the sweet cherries though. It had a nice mouthfeel but it still manages to taste quite watery. The carbonation is really on the soft side. Old ripe strawberries and a little bit of hay in the aftertaste. Actually not horrible. 08.09.2013

25 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from ALBO. BBF 27/07/2013 (so expired, doesn’t mater anything for beers with so much chemical, sweeteners etc.). Very, very dark ruby, almost no pinkish head. Smells like cherry (not kriek) candy, syrup, cotton candy, some sugar. Tastes of cherry grenadine, some syrup, sweeteners are only very faint luckily in the back, touch iron, cotton candy, sugar, very sweet, Cherry coke. Light, touch less carb. Reminds me a bit of Lindemans Kriek but not as good as that one, not bad for what is. Label clearly states lambic, lambic my ass. This is as much lambic or kriek as I am a pigeon.

Clear ruby red beer, big aery off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, sugary, cherry candy ("poepkes"), bit of chloride. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sweet, sugary, cherry candy, little lemony sour, bitter touch. Aftertaste: sugary, cherry candy, little bitter, some chloride, bit dry. Despite the enormous sweetness, it's not cloying. That's a good thing I guess.

Draught @ 3 Små Rum. Pours clear ruby red with a small pinkish white head that quickly dissipates without leaving any trace. Smell is very sweet with cherries, hay, lemon juice, lemon zest, cherry pits, burnt sugar, leather and clover flowers. Taste is extremely sweet and metallic with cherries, cherry pits, processed sugar, almonds and hints of lemon juice and grass. Mouthfeel is very tiny tart, sickeningly sweet and light bodied. Finish is sweet and tiny sour with cherries, lemon juice, grass and lemon zest. Way too sweet for me.

Bottle. Creamy white good fully lasting head. red colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Nice kriek/marcipan notes. MOderate sweet and light bitter dry strong kriek flavor. Average finish. Syruply palate. Nice.
