330ml bottle from Auchan. Pours a misty amber, good off-white head. Aroma has some sweet, caramel hints, light apricot. Taste is similarly light, fruity, slick, soft yeast, some stone fruit.. not especially Christmassy in a spiced way, just lacking a bit of strength and depth of flavour that you expect from a Christmas beer.

opalescent orange to amber colour, large, dense and quite stable slightly yellowish off-white head; aroma of malts, Belgian yeast, some dried apricot and citruses, as well as candy suger notes; taste of bready and biscuity notes, Belgian yeast and hints of dried apricot, maybe some peppery-spicy notes; quite enjoyable beer without any extremity

Rocky beige head subsided leaving a creamy 1/2" cover on a dark amber coloured finely effervescent body. Malt, brown sugar & dark fruit aroma. A well bodied creamy feel with fine prickles over the back of the tongue. Slightly hoppy to the fore with tropical fruits but this quickly moves to malty flavours with stewed fruit, cloves, orange & caramel. A decent Ale - Glad I bought it!

F: average, white, average retention. C: coppery, almost clear. A: malt, spicy, caramel, clove, cinnamon, peach, yeast, fruity esters. T: malt, yeast, clove, cinnamon, fruity, floral, hint of alcohol, caramel, soapy mouthfeel, medium to full body, medium carbonation, among the very good Belgium beers this for sure doesn´t shine, 0,33l bottle from Dranken Corstjens - Prik&Tik in Maasmechelen.

Pours clear golden with a big frothy white head that lasts. The aroma contains banana, herbs, citrus, biscuit and white bread. It tastes medium sweet and light spicy bitter, with a slightly spicy, herbal hoppy finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Not very Christmas-like, to say the least. (Edited 23/5/18)
