Een vol rode gerstewijn van 10% alcohol die door veroudering een mooie portachtige bijsmaak krijgt. Verouderd dus mooi!

Thx. to Benzai / Rene. Left-over from RBBWG 2013 shared with Kraddel who didn’t manage to tick enough whales back then. 33 cl. bottle / 2011 Vintage. Dark brown with bordeaux hue. Smell is boozy, pralines, chocolate, dark malts, caramel, sweet leaves. Bitter herbal taste, pralines, light liquer type of booze, nice booziness, burned coffee grounds, milk chcolate, maple, sweet herbs with some forest touches, bit bitter. Medium bit lightly syrupy, syurpy intaste as well, touch above med. carb. Nicer than expected, nice.

33cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Opaque red-brownish color, small to medium sized beige head that diminishes fairly quickly but leaves fair lacing. Smell malts, sweetness, lightly liquorice and some alcohol. Taste malts, some fruityness, lightly alcohol, sweetness. Low to medium carbonation, medium to full body. Nice beer without a doubt.
