Fles 33cl thuis. Wat vlak. De typische zoetheid van hollands zwaar bier is iets minder. Krachtig. (3-2012).

Bottle. Gold with white head. Nose/taste of rice, corn, alcohol-soaked fruits, grain alcohol and creamed corn. Medium body. Dry corn and alcohol finish. Boozy.

33cl twist off cap green glass bottle pours clear deep gold with thin white head. The overall sweet aroma is apple flavored cotton candy, honey mead, sugary sweet sugary malts and some mild yet rough booziness. That taste isn’t too much different with super sweet sugary malts, over ripe sugar coated red apples, pears, honey and a bit of a mead sensation. It ends with a lingering mead flavor as well as some chemical booze notes.

50cl can, pure Belgian malt liquor bought on a highway gas station. I am still struggling to find the finest of Scottish character.

Bottle at Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Decent smell and taste, nice reasonably balanced mouthfeel. Not bad not very good either.

This beer is just plain average. Tasted stuff like this a dozen of times before. Don’t really like the glass also.

tall can: literally vomit inducing, like a macro pale lager with way too noticeable alcohol, for people looking to get pissed, too expensive for that, worthless

33cl bottle. Golden (as the name says) and very well carbonated with some head retention. The nose is a bit tight, but eventually there are creamy and pale malt aromas. The taste is much bigger with lemon tart and vanilla custard being prominent. The palate has a very large structure, a creamy texture and a refreshing finish. Overall, this is a big but well balanced beer. Great!
