[30/8/2008 - on tap at the Clocktower, Milton Keynes - ABV 4%] Moderate carbonation, decent grassy hop/ green leaf bitterness. Very easy to drink and decently refreshing. Although it is of course bland and a little watery and has a slight metallic aftertaste, this is one of the better macro keg lagers. Better than expected! [23/5/2010 - 440ml can at a BBQ] Out of a can at a barbeque, so expected it to be gopping, especially with the reduction in ABV since I last tried it up. Surprisingly it seemed very similar to the 4% cask version I had a couple of years ago - a reasonable, easy drinking lager with a little more flavour than the other mass-market equivalents.

draught on several occasions, due to the absentness of anything else. Clear pale golden yellow, small head. Watery, thin, slightly malty and hoppy. Refreshing, but boooring.

500ml can from a corner shop in Derby - ABV 3.8% Straw with a soapy looking white head; some light hops on the aroma; corn syrpu flavour and a cardboard finish. "Probably the best lager in the world..." I think not.

A golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet malty - very clean. The flavor is sweet malty with a light bitter finish. The body is thin. Nothing wrong - just boring.

Bland lager adjusted for British tastes. Obviously aims at inoffensiveness as there was no discernible aroma and flavour is subdued, extending no further than stale hops. A seriously bland beer.
