At Carlsberg, the pursuit of better beer is in our DNA. More than 100 years after our founder J.C. Jacobsen mastered the art of brewing great Pilsner, we're still looking for ways to improve our beer. Our perfectly balanced Danish Pilsner is wonderfully crisp and refreshing, with a full flavour and a distinctive hoppy aroma. Skål!

Glass with lunch in Copenhagen hiding from the rain. Very easy drinking and surprisingly yeasty. Not bad at all.

(On tap at brewery) Clear gold with good white head. Aroma is grassy with candy hints. Light body well carbonated. Low on taste. Some bread, some citrus. Easy drinking.

From bottle. Grainy and lemony. Dry bitterness, some grainy sweetness. Light to medium bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry grainy bittersweet finish. Average Premium Lager, boring, but nothing wrong here.

0.33 l can. Pours a yellow-pale golden color with almost disappearing head. Metallic and sweet aroma. Bitter taste with watery sweet aftermath and somehow bitter finishing. Maybe it wasn’t chilled enough but it wasn’t a pleasant beer.

meh. typical skunky euro lager. Why do people think this skunk adds to the beer. Has to be server super cold, to get rid of that skunk, otherwise, close to undrinkable.

Bottiglia.
