Borefts VI. Day 2. ’Craig has blue nipples’ post fest tasting in his room. Hazy pale.gold beer, big fluffy white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Good fine carbonation. Light malts, touch of something floral. Orange and orange pith, trace of lemon zest. Not bad.

Bottle split in Craigs room, Borefts Day 2 after party tasting, 27/09/14 thanks to the person who brought this number. Hazed yellow blond with a moderate off white covering. Nose is citric rind, papaya, light grapefruit, straw, tangy citric zest, mandarin. Taste comprises citric sherbets, paper, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent for style, hopped up affair with a tropical underpin.

Yellow color, small white head, some lace. Cat piss, sewer in the nose - where is Simcoe aroma? Light-bodied. Light citrus and papery grainyness in the flavor. Doesn’t feel fresh. As it is lager, lacks also fruityness.

(Draught at Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussels, 25 Oct 2013) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, grass and bread. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, bread, and a fresh grassy bitterness in a dry finish. Light body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty, but quite thin and a bit short. Nice one.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 02/2014
Rather grainy aroma with malt, some butter and hints of grass. Flavour has vegetables, some buttery notes, herbs and hints of grass. Some off‐flavours but not bad for this ABV. Not a premium lager but a (light) Bohemian pilsener.

330ml bottle

Pours golden orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of vegetables, metallic notes, yeast and hints of hops. Taste is smooth, fruity and yeasty with notes of vegetables and metallic notes. Finish is slightly hoppy with some hints of spices and exotic fruits. A bit messy and unbalanced.
