(650ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, May 24 2016) Pours moderately hazy medium gold with an average white head and spotty lace. Aroma of overripe rotting fruit funk, citrus, peach, lacto, hay, light cereals and earth. Flavour is again heavy on the overripe fruit, wet and slightly mulchy funk, citrus peels, apple, grassy and somewhat herbal hops, a bit of lactic sourness. Finish is rather earthy and funky with barnyard, lingering fruitiness, oaky notes, light tart, dry and fairly bitter. Medium bodied with above average carb. The ripe funk, faded noble hop profile and light malt backbone recall lambic a little bit. Another nice one from Brekeriet.

Aroma is rather brilliant with grapefruit and earthy notes – feels like cantillon! Flavour has grapefruit, earthy tones, gooseberry bush. Feels rather sour and tart. You could hand be a glass of this and tell me it is Cantillon – and I’d believe.
